Coastal Framework Plan for Venice/Marina Del Rey: 2078
Working with The City of Los Angeles Planning Division, Bureau of Engineering and graduate architecture students at the University of Southern California Brooks + Scarpa completed scenario planning for sea level rise and a visionary framework for Venice, CA for 50 years around 2080. The goal of the Visionary Framework Plan is to show the effects of climate change, sea level rise and future growth and transit changes and scenario plan to create a transformative environment that can be sustainable, improve community connections, conserve water and power, increase public transportation, create more biodiversity and adapt to changes to areas vulnerable to climate change and see level rise.
