New College I.M. Pei Dormitory Reimagined Sarasota, FL

REIMAGINING PEI - Preserving An Architectural Legacy In Sarasota. Inspired by the tranquil essence of Sarasota Bay, the new wellness facility represents a harmonious fusion of important ideas from Florida’s regional modernism and the natural beauty of its Gulf Coast. The new complex is not just a site for wellness; it is a full-fledged academic and cultural campus. The program includes a 100,000 square foot 3rd floor addition of a Wellness and Event Center above the two-story 1963 Pei Dormitories. The Pei dormitories are remodeled to house a new program of faculty offices, classrooms, lecture halls, food service facility and a host of other campus functions.
